In partnership with various donor agencies namely UNFPA,UNHCR, OXFAM NOVIB, UNICEF, UNDP,UNOCHA, ICRC, WFP and the Diaspora community, SMWCDO has been involved in the distribution of both Food and Non-Food Items relief supplies to the IDP families in Galkayo.

The non-Food supplies included clothes, blankets, kitchen ware in form of NFI Kits. SMWCDO has also been involved in water trucking to drought affected pastoral communities in Xerojaale, Galdogob and Galkayo.
